For much of that time, he was active in CME as: chairman of an all-staff inter-professional CE program at a community hospital; director of Continuing Medical Education and subsequently chair of continuing education at McMaster University's Faculty of Health Sciences; associate dean, continuing education, and founding director of the Knowledge Translation Program in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto; and chairman of Ontario's Guidelines Advisory Committee.

After his internship he began working as an e-strategy consultant in a new media company, quickly rising to leader of the healthcare division. He has held various national and international positions over the 9 years he has been with Merck. He contributed to various international studies and publications in CME.

As the President and Founder of AXDEV Group International since 1997, Ms. Murray has responded to mandates in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
